Día a día nuestros criterios y vidas se ven afectadas por la influencia que tienen las religiones en nuestra visión del mundo. La religión Judeo/Cristiana/Católica ha jugado y juega un papel de suma importancia en la vida cotidiana en America Latina, un papel paradójico y ambiguo basado en un Dios castigador y a la vez aparentemente bondadoso.
Este papel ambiguo y contradictorio representa la historia los pueblos del continente americano, donde desde hace 517 años el cristianismo llevó una cruz en una mano y en la otra una espada.

Day in and day out our lives and criterion are affected by the influence religion has on our vision of the World. Judeo/Christian/Catholic religion has played and still plays an extremely important roll on Latin America’s everyday life, a paradoxical and ambiguous roll based on a punishing yet apparently kind god.
This ambiguous and contradictory roll represents the history of the peoples of the Americas, where 517 years ago until today Christianism has carried the cross in one hand and a sword in the other.
