This is a print from one of the blocks I cut during my time in DR Congo during the fall of 2012.
I spent a lot of time in Congo trolling the bushes for bugs. The diversity was astonishing, so many new forms of insects and spiders both familiar and unfamiliar. One of the most diverse groups were the hemipterans, the true bugs, insects with sucking mouthparts. This particular bug preys on other insects, seizing them and sucking the juice out of their chitinous shells.
