Taken Apart
$12
Second in the Extinction series. Humans spend such a huge amount of time trying to take the fabric of the Earth apart to understand how it works, atomizing all processes, rendering them into a coherent stream of the tiniest possible pieces of information. Those tiny pieces of information, existing in on or off states, are the foundation of our highly computerized society: the bits left after everything has been destroyed. We stare into the glowing screen that renders them meaningful, lost to the real world of life and evolution. The only problem with treating the world like this is that it's impossible to put it back together after you've taken it apart. Our companions on this planet can only stare in horror. Featuring Mylodon, Mastodon, and Woolly Rhinoceros.
