CACITA- Centro Autónomo para la Creación Intercultural de Tecnologías Apropiadas. Promovemos la creación y uso de herramientas que resuelven necesidades básicas a escala familiar y comunitario. Son tecnologías que apropiamos para la regeneración de nuestras raíces, para el fortalecimiento de nuestra autonomía y libre-determinación, y la de nuestras futuras generaciones. Es un espacio y proyecto de lucha y resistencia que busca a armar los movimientos sociales de base con eco-técnicas para mejor enfrentar las falsas soluciones y políticas de arriba al calentamiento global y el cambio climático.

CACITA- Autonomous Center for the Intercultural Creation of Appropriate Technologies. We promote the creation and use of tools that solve basic necessities at the family and community scale. They are technologies that we appropriate for the regeneration of our roots, to strengthen our autonomy and free-determination, and those of our future generations. It’s a space and project of struggle and resistance that seeks to arm grassroots social movements with eco-techniques to better confront the false solutions and top-down politics concerning global warming and climate change.

Santiago Armengod is a Mexico City based printmaker, who attempts to communicate the urgency of radical change through his artwork. He enjoys and spends most of his time working with projects and collectives he is part of: Justseeds, La Furia de las Calles, Zona Autonoma Makhnovtchina, Colectivo Cordyceps, and ECPM68.
