This print was inspired by an oral history I did with Merced, an 82 year old man from Mexico, who told me stories of his life for weeks on end. Much of his life stories were of falling in an out of work, crossing back and forth between the US and Mexico. This image is from his story about working the wheat fields all day long and only getting 2 cents for his work that day.
