The first poster produced to promote this huge traveling political art show that was on the road across North America from 2001-2005. Drawing Resistance was a political art show that traveled to 33 cities in the US and Canada in a collective manner between 2001 and 2005. The show echoed the D.I.Y. approach of undergound music bands going on tour. Instead of music, radical art got in the van! Nicolas Lampert and Sue Siminky Bietila organized the show that included work by over 30 artists from the US, Canada and Mexico. In each city that Drawing Resistance stopped at, local organizers set up a companion show and delieved the show to the next city down the road. The show ended in 2005.
