This piece is in solidarity with the indigenous people of San Salvador Atenco in Mexico who are farmers by tradition and have resisted efforts by the State and corporations to build a Wal-Mart, a major airport and to seize land. Their resistance has been met by systematic rape, people being disappeared and the taking of political prisoners.
