Street Art Workers
Land & Globalization Poster Series
$6

This collection of 25 posters represents artists from 10 different countries and over 20 different cities. These posters illustrate specific struggles in countries like Brazil and the United States, and they also tackle international issues around poverty and gentrification. Along with a strong critique of imperialism, the posters show how communities throughout the world are resisting corporate power for a more just and sustainable world.

Based in the U.S., Street Art Workers (SAW) is a network of printmakers, stencil artists, graffiti writers and designers who use the streets for art and activism. We are taking back our cities and towns from the businessmen, cops and politicians who define public space for their own benefit. As a volunteer-run group, we make street art for political campaigns and post each other's work across North America. Many Justseeds artists are involved in SAW, and inside this poster set are posters by Icky A., Nicolas Lampert, Colin Matthes, Erik Ruin, Meredith Stern and Pete Yahnke. Other artists include Lex Drewinski (Germany), Collectivo Sublevarte (Mexico), Sébastion Cortes (France), Anthony Garner (Spain) and Slawek Rogowski(Poland).
