This print was part of a series I produced many years ago looking at various facets of the fight against the global HIV/AIDS pandemic. It seems almost more relevant today as the Christian right is waging war against sex education in schools across America.
It is one of my favorite prints to bring to craft sales, it may not sell like hotcakes but there is always a number of times a day when a parent, usually a dad, will point it out to their son or daughter. This will either start off a conversation or some mildly awkward nodding of understanding from all parties.
Head and Hands is a great youth center in Montreal that offers sexual health services for those 25 and under. (free condoms, walk in clinic, STI testing/treatment, the day after pill and abortion counseling) http://www.headandhands.ca
