I made this woodblock print a few years back and recently came across the last 4 prints from the edition. Every time I go to visit my parents, in rural Wisconsin farm country, I am reminded how hard it is to make a living as a family farmer and the impact our food choices have on people, animals, land, and water.

This image was used to make the "What Freedom?" screenprint.
