NYC Memorial Ride: Wednesday, April 23

Alvaro Olson and Jian-Lan Zhang were both tragically killed by trucks on April 16, 2008.
Come out to a memorial ride in honor of them tomorrow, Wednesday, April 23

Jian-Lan Zhang, 55, of Chinatown was riding across busy Allen street at the intersection of Hester street when a delivery truck hit and killed him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No criminal charges have been filed against the driver, but the investigation is ongoing.
Alvaro Olson, 54, of Jackson Heights, Queens was riding his bike on west 36th street approaching Broadway at around 6pm when he was struck by a DHL truck. The truck driver remained at the scene and wasn't charged. Alvaro died in the hospital that night.
